Hey guys – I decided to go ahead and just make a Warhammer Blog for my wife and I to post on. It is still in its early stages but go over and check it out.
Oh, and by the way – According to the Warhammer Online Herald, this weekend the servers are back up for the people who were part of the Preview Weekend. So if you got to play two weekends ago, you can log back in this weekend and play again. WAAAGH!!
Well, Warhammer Online had their preview weekend this last weekend (Aug 22, ‘08 – Aug 25 ‘08). I didn’t get a chance to play it since I had to work but my wife did and boy is she pumped! We both really liked Dark Age of Camelot with the RvR aspect (even went back to it a few months ago and played for a couple of months), and Warhammer looks like it isn’t going to disappoint in the RvR area.
It has a few new features that I haven’t seen in other online games as well, like public questing. I am writing a Squidoo page on it here.
But I guess it is official…it will be the new game we play when it comes out. My wife and I are both preordering it. You get to start a few days earlier than everyone else and you get some in game bonuses with the preorder. We like to have the disks for it, so I am getting the boxed version while she is just going to go with the digital download.
Okay, I’m going to try and post this video of this T-shirt that lets you have your own theme music. It isn’t out yet but as soon as it is I am posting it on my Squidoo page. It looks awesome and has a funny video to go with it. So here it is…hopefully.
Well, hello. This is my blog and I hope to keep it updated with different stuff I find on the internet that I think is pretty cool. And a little geeky! I am into online games. I am currently playing Lord of the Rings Online, but have run the gamut when it comes to online fantasy games. I’ve played Ultima Online, Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft (briefly), Vanguard, and now Lord of the Rings.
I am also into anything geek related. I have a soft spot for t-shirts but like all the gadgets too. Especially if there is a little nostalgia involved. I’m an older geek (pre-40 though…well, at least as of now!).
I do have a Squidoo page that has some cool stuff I like that you can check out.
Well, thats it for now. I have come across some funny videos that I hope to put up here soon if I can figure out how to do that.
